General Warranty Information
The warranty obligations of MYNT SEA Sdn. Bhd. (“MYNT”) for all products are limited to the terms set forth below:
- General Warranty
MYNT products, including Massage Devices, Personal Care Chairs, Electrical Appliances, and other products, come with a warranty that covers Spare Parts and Labour Fees for 6-12 months or above from the date of receipt. The specific warranty period depends on the product listing.
Customers are responsible for shipping the product to any MYNT HQ for warranty service, with shipping fees borne by the customer if required.
- Warranty Product Repair
- Warranty Coverage – Warranty coverage period commences from the Date of Collection/Delivery referring to Sales Order/Delivery Order and measured by continuous calendar days based on a seven-day week. Sales Order or proof of ownership are required for all warranty service(s).
- MYNT Service Centre – Regardless of whether the product is purchased from E-Commerce platforms or from Retail outlets, the customer(s) is required to send the respective MYNT product(s) to MYNT HQ for warranty service. Shipping and Transportation fees will be borned by customer(s), if required.
- Spare Parts – In the sole judgment and discretion of the MYNT Service Team, all parts (Refer to General Warranty Limitations and Exclusions) deemed necessary for repairs will be free of charge.
General Warranty Limitations and Exclusions
- All warranties (refer to Variants of Warranty) commences from the Date of Receiving/Delivery referring to Sales Order/Delivery Order and measured by continuous calendar days based on a seven-day week.
- The General Warranty is only applicable to MYNT product(s) when in the sole judgment and discretion of MYNT’s Service Team, and subject always that the customer(s) has complied with provided user manual (refer to MYNT website/ https://www.mynt.com.my/user-manuals
- The General Warranty is only applicable to original purchase(s) within Malaysia and does not cover MYNT products purchased in other countries. In the event of any such requests made to service and/or repair the MYNT Products purchased from countries other than Malaysia, a fee(s) shall be imposed for any warranty service(s) and/or repair(s).
- Customer(s) are required to send respective product(s) to MYNT HQ for warranty service. Shipping and transportation fees will be borned by customer(s), if required. Should customer(s) deny the request, MYNT reserves the right to cancel the service leaving the issues with the product(s) unresolved.
- Sales Order and/or proof of ownership are MANDATORY in the event that warranty service is required.
- General Warranty are not transferrable.
- General Warranty does not apply to rental, business, commercial, institutional or other non-residential users
- General Warranty does not include any accessories, enhancements or consumable parts including, but not limited to, batteries or protective coatings.
- Wear and tear of Fabric and/or Upholstery occurs naturally and does not constitute a defect under General Warranty.
- Natural markings, grain and dye variations in leather do not constitute a defect under General Warranty.
- General Warranty does not cover any loss or damage resulting from scenarios listed below:-
- Improper installation by unauthorized personnel.
- Unauthorized repairs, modifications and/or tampering of MYNT product(s) in the sole judgement of MYNT Service Team.
- Improper use and/or loss of electrical/power supply
- Mishandled MYNT product.
- Negligence by the customer and/or his/her representatives.
- Malfunction or damages resulting from failure to comply with MYNT Service Team’s recommended maintenance.
- Transportation damages.
- Theft, abuse, misuse, neglect, vandalism.
- Damages caused by any animals, household pets and/or Acts of God, including, but not limited to fire, flood, water, wind or lightning.
- Any consequences due to loss of use of product(s) whilst awaiting spare parts or repair located in MYNT Service Centre.
- Damage of MYNT product(s) resulting from shipping, relocation and/or mishandling does not constitute a defect under General Warranty. MYNT reserves the right to invalidate the warranty before its expiration date.
- Under no circumstances shall MYNT or its representatives bear responsibility for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including, but not limited to, damages relating to lost profits, business disruption, bodily injuries such as slip disks, pacemakers, muscular atrophy, bone or visceral issues, strains, bruises, individuals experiencing carsickness or seasickness, heart disease, or any other precautions as delineated in the product user manual. The user unequivocally assumes the entire risk.
- In the event of unavailability of required spare parts, in the sole liability and judgement of MYNT, MYNT Service Team reserves the right to provide exclusive remedy(s) for repair and/or replacement.
- For any obsolete products, spare part replacements are subjected to availability.
- Dead on Arrival (DOA) or Manufacturer Defects:
- If the product is found to be dead on arrival or has manufacturer defects within 7 days upon receive, it is eligible for a 1-to-1 exchange.
- The exchange will be conducted for the same product model, provided it is available in stock.
- The exchange will only be processed upon verification by our technical team.
REMARK: All the above Terms & Conditions are subjected to amendments and may be updated from time to time without prior notice to customer(s).
